As the only liberal arts degree in Kent State’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design, Architectural Studies (ARCS) offers a high level of flexibility, which allows students to customize the undergraduate experience to suit their own career and educational goals. The ARCS program includes required design studios, lecture/studio hybrid courses and seminars on design thinking, history/theory/criticism and sustainability.

The architecture program at Kent State University is dedicated to developing responsible, professional architects committed to the improvement of the quality of life, the enhancement of the physical environment and protection of the public welfare through the design of the built environment. CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
The ACCE-accredited Bachelor of Science in Construction Management program at Kent State prepares graduates for professional careers in the management of construction projects. The program provides a management-oriented technical curriculum built upon a balanced program of studies drawn from a variety of disciplines related to Construction Management. Our Construction Management students regularly place in the top 5 at national competitions and look forward to near 100% job placement at graduation.

INTERIOR DESIGN
The CIDA-accredited Interior Design program at Kent State is dedicated to the understanding, development, and improvement of the physical environment and the protection of the public. Our Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design is ranked 12th in the nation for programs firms want to hire from, boasts an 88.5% 6-year graduation rate, and has multiple faculty that have been named Most Admired Educators by Design Intelligence.
