Academic Expectations and Support
College Credit Plus (CCP) allows high school students to take real college courses now. While CCP students are in high school, they are also official Kent State University students. This means students are expected to meet college-level standards. Because of this, parents are less involved in the process, serving more as a mentor than actively involved anchors. Where parents may not be able to help, Kent State offers a wide range of student services to help students succeed.
Kent State University observes Memorial Day on May 25. No classes are scheduled on the holiday, and university offices are closed. The university will resume normal operations on May 26.To see a list of state-designated holidays and dates when the university is closed, please visit Kent State’s Academic Calendar....
