During the 2023 Spring Commencement Ceremony at Kent State University at Tuscarawas, where over 300 students graduated with bachelor’s and associate degrees, the Community Service Award and the Distinguished Alumni Award were presented to valued community members. Dr. Kim Hahn has been appointed Interim Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Faculty Affairs in the College of the Arts, effective July 1, 2023. Dr. Hahn is currently a full Professor at the School of Fashion with over nine years of administrative and leadership experience as the Associate Director, the Interim Director, as well as the study away coordinator for the School. EHHS Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs and Graduate Education Steve Mitchell, Ph.D., was recently invited to deliver a keynote and a closing address for the third International Conference on Physical Education and Sport at Sao Paulo State University in Rio Claro, Brazil. Both presentations were well received, as was a practical workshop that Mitchell and Adriano De Souza provided for Physical Education teachers.
