Kent State University is launching a series of videos showcasing the talents of our faculty and staff aimed at providing an uplifting respite from the stress of the COVID-19 pandemic. The series begins with David Hassler, director of Kent State’s Wick Poetry Center, who shares the poem “Some Days” created for the 50th anniversary of the College of Nursing in 2017. The poem was created through a collaboration of more than 600 nurse alumni and is featured as part of an art project on a wall inside Henderson Hall. A bachelor’s degree in Middle Childhood Education is now within reach for Twinsburg-area students, both geographically and financially.
