Have experience teaching or serving first year students.
Be willing to develop a positive relationship with each student in their assigned section.
Be willing and available to engage with students over Fall and Spring semesters outside of the classroom. This will include class time, individual meetings, and other intentional follow-up (particularly in the Spring) with students.
Be willing to work with and further develop your assigned Peer Success Mentor (PSM)
Commit to being present at all sessions of their assigned section.
Commit to meet weekly with their assigned PSM to co-design class content and discuss concerns about students.
Be willing and available to participate in the assessment of their assigned section.
Master’s Degree, in any field
Be willing and available to participate in a two-day virtual Instructor Academy on May 15-16.
