Mia Savelli is a freshman BFA Dance major and couldn’t be more excited to start her first year in the Kent Dance Ensemble. Mia has trained in all styles of dance and competed in many dance competitions for the past ten years. She was crowned Miss Precision and was given the technique award at the 2020 Precision Arts Challenge competition. Mia has attended the Chicago Human Rhythm Project intensive for two years, performed for the unveiling of the Playhouse Square Dazzle chandelier, and was a member of the Cleveland Playhouse musical theater program. She was also chosen to be the Event Coordinator for the Student Dance Education Organization at Kent State. Mia is so thankful for the opportunity to be in KDE and cannot wait to grow and learn as a member.
