Ashtabula Achievement Award

Freshman achievement scholarships are financial awards based on outstanding high school academic performance.  Scholarships are limited and priority is given to students who enroll by July 1.

Criteria*

  • $1000 per student with a cumulative high school GPA of 2.5 or greater
    • Half of this award ($500) will be applied to the fall account
    • Students will be required to maintain a 2.5 GPA and a 6.0 credit hour enrollment at Kent State Ashtabula to receive the balance of the award ($500) on their spring account 
  • An additional $500 will be awarded ($250 fall and $250 spring) if the student has previously attended Kent State Ashtabula through the College Credit Plus (CCP) program.

* Students must be enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours at Kent State Ashtabula to receive the scholarship.
