Statement from Dean Stocker on Death of Student Rand Hilal Al Dulaimi

The faculty, staff and administration of Kent State University at Ashtabula offers its sincerest condolences on the death of Rand Hilal Al Dulaimi. Al Dulaimi was a student on the Ashtabula campus during the Spring 2018 semester and was enrolled on the Kent campus for fall classes. The Ashtabula County Coroner's office has not ruled on a cause or manner of death, while the Ashtabula County Sherriff is investigating the case.

“We are heartbroken by this overwhelming loss, and our prayers go out to Rand’s family, especially her son, Omar, along with the students, staff and faculty who grew to know and love her here at Kent State Ashtabula," said Susan J. Stocker, Ph.D., Dean and Chief Administrative Officer.
