The Graduate College is offering the Write Place, every Wednesday through October 26 for graduate students as a supportive environment to work on their research and be part of an accountability group. These sessions will be from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. each day. Students are welcome to join whenever they are able, but a goal setting meeting will take place at 10 a.m. each day and progress check in at 2:30 p.m. each day to share what you accomplished or discuss challenges you are facing.
Free coffee and tea will be provided! There is also a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster in the lounge if you want to pack a lunch as well.

In this session, educators will learn inclusive strategies that value first-generation students’ lived experiences through approaches such as open-ended student questionnaires and co-creating community agreements that can positively contribute to students’ self-efficacy and motivation for learning in our classrooms.

Attendees will have ample time to network with industry, faculty, and students.
