
Ken Ditlevson
Biography
Ken Ditlevson serves as the Assistant Dean of Students and Director of the CARES Center at Kent State University, a role he began in June 2025. Prior to this position, Ken dedicated 10 years to Kent State as the Director of the LGBTQ+ Center, where he was a key advocate and leader in supporting inclusive student services.
A two-time graduate of Kent State University, Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Education in Community Counseling. Before his tenure at Kent State, he spent nearly two decades working in mental health and social services. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Vice President at Child Guidance & Family Solutions in Akron, Ohio, where he contributed significantly to behavioral health initiatives for youth and families.
