What is your degree program?

Health Education and Promotion in the College of EHHS M.Ed and PhD. I will graduate from my Master's program in May 2022 and my PhD around spring 2025.

What do you do for the Division of Mental Health and Substance Use?

I work on the Garrett Lee Smith Suicide Prevention grant and assist with training development, leading trainings, planning and promotion of events, and social media.

What is your favorite memory from Kent State University?

Being involved in multiple student organizations over the years. I can’t pick one!

Why did you choose to go into public health?

Living with multiple chronic health conditions and disabilities. I became passionate about health. I want to educate and empower others to live to there full potential.

What is your favorite place to eat in Kent?

Guidos Pizza

What is the last tv show you watched or book that you read?

Writing on the Bathroom Walls 

What are your plans after graduation?

Continuing to work in the field of mental health and hopefully teaching at a university.
