Appointments are Required

Students and faculty are encouraged to schedule an appointment with a registered nurse as early as possible to ensure adequate time is allotted for completion of any needed vaccine series prior to travel. Vaccination prior to travel is imperative to help individuals stay healthy during and after their journeys.

Travelers should check the CDC (Center for Disease Control) Travel Information Web Site for up-to-date disease outbreak information for specific areas of travel and additional information about treatment and disease prevention while traveling.

If you are required to have a physical exam or obtain prophylactic medications prior to traveling, you may call 330-672-2322 to schedule an appointment. You may be asked to schedule an appointment with a registered nurse before meeting with a clinician. This allows the nurse to review your forms and travel plans so we are able to tailor health advice to your specific itinerary.
