The Master of Arts degree in Translation prepares students for careers in translation, language project management, international business, and government. Founded in 1988, Kent State’s program is one of the oldest and largest in the U.S. and is consistently ranked among the top three in the country — available fully online or on campus.
Application deadlines
- Online M.A.: Rolling admissions — apply anytime. We review applications right up to the start of each term, so it’s rarely too late to begin with the upcoming semester.
- On-site M.A.: Applications accepted year-round. The January 1 priority deadline applies to applicants who want to be considered for graduate assistantships, which are limited and awarded competitively.
