Geography Graduate Student Association
Geography Graduate Student Association (GGSA) acts as
an intermediary between the faculty and graduate student body. In addition, promotion
of the field of geography within the university and community is a pillar mission of the
organization. Through activities, the GGSA intends to foster a sense of interdisciplinary
community, collaborative research, and professional development. Both on-campus and off-campus activities are held to create a sense of belonging, with a main goal of making the Geography program feel like a family rather than a department.
