Biography

Dr. Lanese began her appointment at Kent State University in Fall 2015. Prior to coming to Kent, she worked in Healthcare Management at a nonprofit community hospital as the Co-Management Administrator and Director of Special Projects for almost five years. She previously held an academic appointment in the Department of Political Science at Eastern Michigan University teaching courses in Public Administration. Dr. Lanese has have taught both graduate and undergraduate courses in Public Health, Public Administration, and Healthcare Management. She’s also taught public policy, state and local politics, organizational behavior, public personnel, human resource management, public budgeting, and American government.
