Rebecca Parks continues to build her career at Sherwin-Williams, where she works as an IT Security Analyst. She was first connected to the company through an internship, fellow alumni and a Kent State job fair. Now, her day-to-day involves granting access, restricting access and web security. She’s learned a lot about her strengths and the digital sciences field.
“I found that I work well with a lot of teams, because information security deals with a whole bunch of teams, developers and other parts of IT.”

Rebecca was drawn to digital sciences as a Kent State major because of the breadth of the curriculum.
“I felt that as a person, I wanted to touch on a lot of subjects. Digital sciences and the roadmaps and all the classes they offer seemed to match up with me really quite well.”
