What is your degree program?
My major is Public Health with a concentration in Community Health and Development with an expected graduation date of May 2024.
What do you do for the Division of Mental Health and Substance Use?
I work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Division of Mental Health and Substance Use.
What is your favorite memory from Kent State University?
My favorite memory from Kent was finally being able to attend in person classes last semester and starting my job at the Center of Public Policy and Health, which led to meeting a lot of new people!
Why did you choose to go into public health?
I chose to go into public health because when trying to decide on a major I couldn't decide between pursuing a medical career or one in law, and I happened to read about public health and decided it was the best of both worlds, and I still think it is.
What is your favorite place to eat in Kent?
My favorite place to eat in Kent is definitely Ray's Place for dinner but Over Easy is my favorite breakfast spot.
What is the last tv show you watched or book that you read?
I just finished reading "A Little Life" by Hanya Yanagihara and I'm currently rewatching Scandal and Gilmore Girls, again!
What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation I plan to go to a Physician Assistant School or pursue a dual Master of Public Health and Physician Assistant Studies program to become a PA, hopefully to work to bring healthcare to underserved communities, both in the US and abroad.
