Kent Area Women's Health Community Resource Guide

At the DeWeese Health Center on the Kent Campus, medical professionals offer a wide range of women’s health services, including pap smears and pelvic exams, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) counseling and testing, and counsel of contraception. Currently, we prescribe oral contraceptives, contraceptive rings, contraceptive patches and Plan B emergency contraception. We also provide information and support for community members who are pregnant. Those who need accommodations due to pregnancy may contact the Office of Gender Equity and Title IX at 330-672-7535.

In addition to medical assistance, students may find information on support services through the Student Ombuds who can be reached at ombuds@kent.edu or by calling 330-672-9494, the Office of the Dean of Students at 330-672-8003 and their academic advisor.

Students on our Regional Campuses may visit the DeWeese Health Center or contact their campus counseling representative for guidance on local resources.
