PhD candidate and adjunct instructor Laura Mendez visited Pristina, Kosovo August 10-20, 2022, to participate in the Kosovo International Summer Academy for Peace Building in Post-Conflict Areas. Mendez spent her professional time there attending workshops and lectures on Kosovo’s peacebuilding efforts, diplomacy, etiquette, and negotiation. Department chair Dr. Tony Molina led a group OF undergraduate students on a study abroad trip to Amsterdam, the Netherlands in March 2023, during which the class visited the Hague, the International Criminal Court, and the International Court of Justice, which is considered the home of international law and arbitration. Students also explored Amsterdam’s system of canals and public transportation, visited the Anne Frank and Van Gogh museums, and learned about Amsterdam’s bike culture and relaxed public policies toward drugs. ...
