Does KSUCPM have Partnerships with any Undergraduate Programs?

KSUCPM cooperates in articulation agreements with several national institutions.

This program permits qualified undergraduate students at participating institutions to enter KSUCPM after the completion of three years of college study. Entrance into the program is predicated on proven academic abilities including the completion of courses normally associated with a general pre-med curriculum, commitment to the profession and its advancement, and demonstrated moral and professional character.

How does KSUCPM award scholarships?

Each year KSUCPM awards approximately $950,000 to incoming and current students. Scholarships are awarded to incoming students based upon GPA, MCAT score, Interview, and recommendations from the Admissions Committee and/or faculty members. Scholarships for incoming students traditionally range from $2,500-$10,000. Continuing scholarships for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students are awarded based upon performance while enrolled in the program. Please visit the Financial Aid site for more information.

When is KSUCPM’s application deadline?

KSUCPM participates in AACMPAS. The application service accepts applications beginning August through June 30. KSUCPM operates on a rolling admissions basis. Priority consideration will be given to applicants who submit their admission materials by March 1st of each year for the academic year to begin that same fall. Students may submit an application with pre-requisites in progress or planned. In addition, students may submit an application with a planned MCAT date.

How is my GPA calculated?

AACPMAS takes all your earned grades from any US college or university, and calculates one GPA from all courses taken. Courses repeated are also included in the GPA. There is a separate calculation for all biology, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physics and math courses taken to compile your science GPA.

Students entering in August 2019 as part of the Class of 2023 had an average overall GPA of 3.36, an average science GPA of 3.20, an average organic chemistry GPA of 2.90, and an average biology GPA of 3.23. The average MCAT score was a 494.
