The deadline to apply for one of the four May 4th Legacy Scholarships has been extended to April 17, 2023.  Each scholarship is in the amount of $3,000.   The May 4th Legacy Scholarship Program was established by Kent State University in 2020.  This program provides four scholarships to be given to students majoring in our Peace and Conflict Studies program. Dr. Josh Wilder has already proved he is a survivor. Wilder, who received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University’s College of Podiatric Medicine in 2016, was born with Eagle-Barrett syndrome, also known as Prune-Belly syndrome, and doctors did not think he would make it past age 5. At age 9, he had a kidney transplant and was put on immunosuppressant medications for the rest of his life.
