The Kent Chorus is a town/gown non-audition vocal ensemble made up of Kent State students, faculty, staff and members of the community. The chorus rehearses weekly during the semester from 7:15-9:45 p.m. on the third floor of the Center for the Performing Arts. Spring semester rehearsals will begin Tuesday, Jan. 16, so if you're interested in learning more or want to join the chorus, registration will take place beginning at 6:30 p.m. that night outside the rehearsal room in the Center for Performing Arts.

Slips, trips and falls are the leading causes of work related injuries, causing up to 15% of accidental deaths in the workplace. With wintertime upon us, the focus of this presentation will be on safe walking and distracted walking. Please join Tim Styranec, Kent State Health and Safety Coordinator, as he also discusses how to report an injury in the workplace. Open to all employees; full-time, benefits-eligible employees earn 10 wellness rewards points.
