Former Golden Eagles basketball standout, Zach Camporese, has just been voted high school Coach of the Year in the Florida Athletic Coaches Association, 6A, District 9 and Overall Coach of the Year for all classifications of District 9 by his peers. Camporese, a 2020 graduate of Kent State University at Tuscarawas with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, just completed his second season as the head coach at New Smyrna Beach High School in Volusia County, Florida. The School of Peace and Conflict Studies is accepting applications for May 4th Legacy Scholarships, which are available to Peace and Conflict Studies majors who are beginning or continuing their studies.  There are four scholarships available in the amount of $3,000 each.  These scholarships were established in memory of the students killed at Kent State on May 4th 1970: Allison Krause, Jeffrey Miller, Sandra Scheuer and William Schroeder.  The deadline for applications is April 4, 2023.  For more information about these scholarships, go to https://www.kent.edu/spcs/may-4th...
