If you are participating in the Early Childhood MAT program beginning in Summer 2023, followed by Block 11--111 Field placements in Fall 2023, Block IV Field placement in Spring 2024, and Block V Student Teaching in Fall 2024, you will need to enter your 'initial application 'this current Spring 2023 semester during your designated time, Monday April 24th to Tuesday May 2nd• You will need to submit an updated application in Fall 2023 that will be used for your Spring 2024 Block IV and Fall 2024 Block V placement.

Ruppelt Sculpture Fabrication Project

Connor Ruppelt, a senior sculpture major at Kent State University, wanted to step outside his comfort zone on his latest project and explore new technologies for sculpture fabrication – thanks to the facilities and expertise available at the Design Innovation Hub he was able to do just that. Ruppelt’s piece, which features a twenty foot soft-sculpture tube, car hood, pillow, fabric mat and preserved fish gills, was designed and constructed almost entirely at the DI Hub.
