Kent State student nurses helped to treat a man who had fallen ill with a seizure.

Three Kent State University College of Nursing students had an unexpected opportunity to come to the aid of a person who had fallen on a sidewalk while suffering a seizure.  The incident took place in May, as students Audrey Jokovich, Keenan Orr and Marissa Tyger were beginning their community clinical rotation in the city of Wooster, Ohio, about 45 miles southwest of the Kent Campus.  The trio had just met for lunch with Tracy Dodson, Ph.D., MSN, RN, associate professor in the College of Nursing, who gave them their first assignment of getting to know the community where they ...

Exhibits and Events at the Kent State University Museum

The Kent State University Museum, located in Rockwell Hall on the Kent Campus of Kent State University, contains important collections of fashion and decorative arts. Its eight galleries feature changing exhibitions of work by many of the world's great artists and designers. In addition to the Museum's extensive collection of fashion garments, costumes, and accessories, it also houses a collection of American glass, fine furniture, textiles, paintings and other decorative arts.

Kent Blossom Programs

Since the inception of Blossom Music Center in 1968, the Musical Arts Association has partnered with Kent State University and its College of the Arts to develop Blossom as a complete environment for the arts. Each summer, Kent Blossom combines performance with education and joins working professionals with talented students to teach, explore and produce great art. This important relationship between a premier performing ensemble and a public university has also served as a model for other collaborations.

We offer different rates for university groups, non-profit organizations, and businesses. As a general idea on pricing, the price for a Kent State University group of 25 people participating in a three-hour low ropes course program would be $375.
