Ana Wetzl Wins Outstanding Teaching Award

Originally from Romania, Ana Wetzl, Ph.D., taught herself English at 17 years old. Today, she is an associate professor of English at Kent State University at Trumbull with expertise in Applied Linguistics and Composition Studies. To celebrate both Black History Month and the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., the College of Arts & Sciences has established the MLK Pioneer Award. Students, faculty, and staff have the ability to nominate an individual or themselves.
