Dr. Ana Wetzl, associate professor of English at Kent State University at Trumbull, has earned a 2021 Outstanding Teaching Award.  Originally from Romania, Dr. Wetzl started teaching at Kent State Trumbull in 2006, where she was also the English Coordinator in the campus Learning Center. She is currently the advisor for the English Club and is involved with diversity initiatives on campus. Former Kent State University at Tuscarawas basketball standout Zach Camporese has been named boys varsity basketball head coach at New Smyrna Beach High School in Volusia County, Florida. Camporese, a two-time USCAA Academic All-American and 1000+ career point scorer, graduated Cum Laude from Kent State Tuscarawas in the spring of 2020.
