Bra Recycling

Kent State University’s Office of Sustainability, the Women’s Center, and Employee Wellness and Health Promotion, is hosting a bra recycling drive October 5 through 29, to collect reusable or worn-out bras and reduce the number of textiles in landfills. Bras that are in good condition will be donated to the Phyllis Zumkehr County Clothing Center. Worn-out bras will be recycled. The CARES Center works collaboratively with students to secure resources that meet their basic needs.
