All aquatics certifications are taught by American Red Cross-certified instructors. Please note that participation in a certification class does not guarantee certification. All skills related to the certification must be properly demonstrated (as defined by course outline) in order to receive certification. Participants must successfully complete all skills and score an 80% or better on each written test in order to be certified. Certificates will be emailed as a PDF from the American Red Cross within 10 days of completion of the class. Class will start promptly at the designated time.

Welcome to our Winter Break Trip to Big Bend National Park! This trip for the Kent State University students only! We will fly to Odessa, TX and travel down to the beautiful Dark Sky Park, Big Bend National Park to our Group Campsite. The next morning, we’ll be up early to head travel to the Window Trailhead for a sunrise hike and explore the park. Next up, we’re traveling to our paddle guides for an overnight paddle trip in the Santa Elena Canyon. Our guide will lead us through the canyon, we’ll pitch our tent then paddle out the next day!

College Late Night Skates are Wednesday nights at the KSU Ice Arena for Kent State college students with a current college ID. Guests may accompany a KSU college student, but must be 18 years of age or older and have an ID.
Cost is $5 (includes skate rental)
No cash payments at the Skate Rental and Concession counters.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD PAYMENT ONLY (Visa, MC, Discover)
Guests must be accompanied by a current KSU Student.
College Skate Night admission sales will begin 30-minutes prior to the session start time.
