The Division of Information Technology created the Pioneer Program to improve the university’s digital products and services, particularly FlashLine. Kent State Athletics and TeleProductions collaborated to design and install a brand-new HD video display system in the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center). A new 4-panel video board replaced the previous center-hung scoreboard which could only display scores and player stats. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, people with disabilities are among the most sedentary population in the U.S., and people with intellectual or developmental disorders are five times less likely to be physically active compared to their peers. Stocker, Ph.D., recently named longtime nursing faculty member Julie Senita, Ph.D., as the campus’s Senior Program Director for Nursing and Allied Health.
