Gov. John Kasich has appointed Carly Evans to a two-year term as an undergraduate student trustee of the Kent State University Board of Trustees. Evans’ term concludes on May 16, 2018.  Evans is a junior public relations major in Kent State’s College of Communication and Information, with a minor in political science in Kent State’s College of Arts and Sciences. Kent State University recently announced the upcoming addition of women’s lacrosse as a varsity sport with the first competitive season taking place in the 2018-19 academic year. The announcement was a part of the athletic department’s strategic vision, The Game Plan, a comprehensive plan that maps out a strategic course for the department over the next five years.
