The Orchestra Society raises money for scholarships with our annual Evening with the Orchestra fundraiser. Dinner and drinks are served at the KSU Student Center Ballroom, followed by a concert by the orchestra.
Largest Collegiate Aircraft Fleet in Ohio
Kent State University has the largest collegiate fleet (34) of aircraft in Ohio, which accumulates over 18,000 hours of flight time annually.
US News and World Report Rankings
U.S. News & World Report has recognized 19 Kent State University programs as among the best in the nation in its 2025 Best Graduate Schools rankings. Among those, 10 programs rank in the top 100.
Affordability
Kent State ranked the top Ohio school for tuition affordability by The Columbus Dispatch.
Named a Network Champion Institution by FirstGen Forward
Kent State was announced as a Network Champion Institution by FirstGen Forward, and is one of 32 colleges/universities nationwide to be recognized on this list. Kent State is one of only three colleges/universities in Ohio to receive the recognition.
