BSN Foundational Entry Concentration Information

Admitted BSN Foundational Entry Concentration Majors

The Foundational Entry Concentration is a four-year BSN program including one summer semester, designed for students who have not completed one or all of the following high school courses: math, chemistry, and/or biology. This concentration ensures you have the foundation needed to succeed in upper-level nursing coursework.

Students admitted to the Foundational Entry concentration will complete the same comprehensive BSN curriculum as their peers in other concentrations, ensuring they receive the highest quality nursing education and are fully prepared for professional practice. Students interested in the Foundational Entry concentration can apply through Kent State's standard admissions process.
