Research and Innovation Advisory Board
About Us
The Research and Innovation Advisory Board serves as the infrastructure within the College of Nursing to evaluate and recommend support for meritorious projects advancing a faculty’s program of research or innovation. The board recommends funding from dollars received by philanthropic contributions to the college. The Research and Innovation Advisory Board will consider applications for research, innovation as well as other projects. The board is composed of members of the College of Nursing Leadership, faculty members and staff. Ad hoc experts will be called, when appropriate, to help make funding determinations.
Mission
Consistent with the College of Nursing Mission, the Research and Innovation Advisory Board will work to foster a culture of research and innovation to advance the science and practice of nursing through the allocation of philanthropic funds.
Vision
To leverage the College of nursing philanthropic funds to advance meritorious and impactful research, innovation, and various other projects. Funds should be utilized with the hope of transitioning to larger external funders and to expand the College of Nursing’s local, regional, national, and international presence in research and innovation.
