John Updegraff awarded NIDCR grant to improve oral health

Dr. John Updegraff (PI), associate professor of social and health psychology, was awarded a grant from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research for a project titled "Message Framing for Oral Health in a Diverse Longitudinal Sample of Americans". This 2-year project will develop communication strategies to promote adherence to oral health behaviors, and to help reduce ethnic disparities in oral health.
