Kent State doctoral student, Ryan Marek, interviewed

Ryan Marek was recently interviewed by Dug Dug.

Dr. Denise D. Ben-Porath, an Associate Professor of Psychology at John Carroll University, and Ryan Marek, a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Quantitative Methodology at Kent State University, were recently interviewed by Dug Dug.

Mr. Marek’s personal program of research is currently focused on the role of psychological assessment in behavioral medicine. He and Dr. Denise Ben Porath recently published the paper,Targeting premeal anxiety in eating disordered clients and normal controls: A preliminary investigation into the use of mindful eating vs. distraction during food exposure. The article appears in The International Journal of Eating Disorders.
