Our Research

The Division of Research and Sponsored Programs has long been home to a stellar staff, renowned for helping faculty complete the lengthy process of applying for and obtaining the grants that make great research possible.

RASP staff are working daily to continue to provide outstanding assistance in seeking grant funding, as we phase in a new era for research at Kent State, marked by dynamic promotion of research both internally and externally, attracting new faculty and students with research foci, energizing and uniting the research community across all of Kent State’s campuses; and making research not just part of Kent State’s image but part of its very essence.

Kent State’s research identity will be shaped largely by emphasizing and facilitating collaboration among colleges, departments, faculty, and even business partners. This collaborative focus is why we say that Kent State Research is Where Fields Collide.

Contact RASP Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 330-672-0709, or feel free to use our staff directory to find the RASP team member who can best help you find the funding you need, prepare your application, set up your start-up, or find an opportunity to collaborate on impactful research.
