Kent State University has the distinction of ranking among the top five companies nationwide in Forbes recent list of America’s Best Employers for Diversity 2019.

Kent State University’s Online MBA program is ranked among the top 100 programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report’s on its 2019 Best Online MBA Programs list.

U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan presented Kent State nursing major Austin Croft with the Congressional Award Silver Medal on Tuesday, Nov. 27. Mr. Croft, of Akron, Ohio, was recognized at a ceremony that took place at the College of Nursing where he was praised for his dedication to improving himself and his community.

The Ohio History Connection’s State Historic Preservation Office Awards has recognized Kent State University with a 2018 Public Education and Awareness Award.

In a class by itself, Kent State University is the only public university in Northeast Ohio to be ranked in the top tier of the Best National Universities list released by U.S. News & World Report.
