The lecture series created in 2022 to honor the legacy of Kent State University Professor Emeritus of Sociology Jerry M. Lewis, Ph.D., will feature Professor of Geography Chris Post, Ph.D., presenting “Developing and Interpreting the Wounded Student Markers at Kent State” as this year’s selected speaker. The Jerry M. Grants Provide Engineering Technology Students with High-Tech Electronic Equipment
Engineering technology students at Kent State University at Tuscarawas now have access to new state-of-the-art portable electronic equipment.
The high-tech equipment was purchased through the Governor’s Office of Appalachia (GOA) and the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) Workforce Development Grant for $182,000 with funding from Ohio Mid-Eastern Governments Association (OMEGA), Tuscarawas County Commissioners, Kent State University, Buckeye Career Center, OhioMeansJobs, Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce, and the Tuscarawas County Foundation.
