Grants Provide Engineering Technology Students with High-Tech Electronic Equipment

Engineering technology students at Kent State University at Tuscarawas now have access to new state-of-the-art portable electronic equipment.

The high-tech equipment was purchased through the Governor’s Office of Appalachia (GOA) and the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) Workforce Development Grant for $182,000 with funding from Ohio Mid-Eastern Governments Association (OMEGA), Tuscarawas County Commissioners, Kent State University, Buckeye Career Center, OhioMeansJobs, Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce, and the Tuscarawas County Foundation.

Talking About Your Animation

The 2023 Animation School Rankings have been released, and the Kent State University College of Applied and Technical Studies Animation Game Design (AGD) program is ranked 16th nationally and 20th in the Midwest. This is the 12th year for the annual rankings for animation programs. Nearly 200 schools with animation programs from across the country were considered.
