On Aug. 15, some of Kent State's newest Golden Flashes explored downtown Kent as part of Flashes First Friday.
IN A FLASH: A Ruck for Vets and Pets
The Ruck for Pets and Vets saw participants march with full backpacks from Downtown Kent and through the university campus to finish at Dix Stadium. Items in the backpacks, and proceeds from the event, will assist in matching veterans and first responders with companion animals.
