The Kent State University at Ashtabula Rising Scholars Program is designed to increase the number of students who continue their education beyond high school, are college ready and enter the workforce with skills that will enhance the economic growth of the region.
Here is how you can support this effort.
- Make a gift between November 10th- December 3rd -Donate $25 (or more). The Ashtabula Area College Committee has pledged $5,000 to match all gifts to the Ashtabula Rising Scholars Program. Your $25 gift becomes $50; $50 becomes $100! Also, for every 20 unique donors who give $25+ to this fund, we will also receive a $500 Bonus Participation Boost from the Kent State University Foundation! Show your support for our students when they need it the most.
- Trying to figure out how to make this all work? Remember, for KSU employees, payroll deduction is always an option and a few bucks a month toward this great cause is worth it!
- We encourage you to become an official “fundraiser” and reach out to all of your friends, families and colleagues to take advantage of this opportunity to get our emergency fund back up and running to help support our students in meeting their basic needs so they can focus on their education.
