Kent State University at Ashtabula invites prospective students, families and community members to attend Blue & Gold Night, the campus’s signature open-house style event, on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in Susan J. Stocker Hall.
This immersive, hands-on experience is designed to help students explore the 30+ degree programs that can be started and completed entirely at the Ashtabula campus, while also providing personalized guidance on the admissions process, financial aid, and academic pathways.
During Blue & Gold Night, guests will have the opportunity to:
- Tour the Kent State Ashtabula campus and experience classrooms, labs and student spaces firsthand.
- Meet knowledgeable faculty and student support staff who are committed to student success.
- Visit resource tables covering admissions, financial aid, campus life, and more.
- Navigate the FAFSA process through a dedicated, hands-on workshop aimed at simplifying federal financial aid filing.
- Get answers about transferring earned college credit and learn about academic planning.
- Start—or finish—their free Kent State Ashtabula admission application with help from the admissions team.

The event will also include giveaways and additional activities for attendees.
