Summer Construction to Close Portions of Main Hall

Work on B-Wing Hallway Begins May 20th

A major campus improvement project will get underway Monday, May 20, 2019, as the B-Wing in Main Hall will undergo a complete renovation.  New flooring and wall coverings, lighting, ceilings and sprinkler system will be installed along with a new entryway into the south side of the Blue & Gold Room.

During the renovation project, which is slated to last until just before the start of the semester, both first- and second-floor B-Wing corridors will be closed, as will the south and east exterior entrances to Main Hall.  Guests visiting Main Hall will be asked to enter from the north doors, close to the Student Services Suite.  Ashtabula County Transportation System (ACTS) busing will maintain service to the campus, however, traffic will reroute to the north entrance.

Additionally, both the gymnasium and auditorium will be closed during the renovation.  The Main Hall Auditorium recently underwent a $2 million renovation, made possible from an Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) grant and funding from local donors, and a grand reopening and ribbon cutting for both the auditorium and corridor projects will take place in the fall.

Please check back often for news and updates related to this and other projects. While this work may be temporarily inconvenient, the investment of in these repairs will ultimately provide our students and guests with better service.
