Wednesday, July 13, 2022 (All day) to Friday, July 15, 2022 (All day)

Wed. - Fri.,  July 13 - 15 2022  Fifteen female, high school students will receive a free, three-day camp experience through the Nikki Kukwa Memorial Aviation Fund and Kent State University’s College of Aeronautics and Engineering. 

Monday, July 18, 2022 - 10:00am to Friday, July 22, 2022 - 11:45am

Girls Geared for Engineering is an inclusive STEM camp open all middle school students.  GG4E will be delivered hybrid, with a blend of remote and in-person participation in 2022.  This year, the College of Aeronautics and Engineering is excited to deliver this camp in person!.  During the in-person experience, registered campers will receive supplies and instructions to be successful on their first day of camp.

We are excited to announce that planning has officially begun for the annual Kent State University (KSU) Aeronautics and Engineering Expo (A&E Expo)! Features of this year include tours of the FedEx Aeronautics Academic Center, opportunities to experience our state-of-the-industry Alsim flight simulators and flights on Kent State Aircraft. This year’s event brings more excitement in the initial planning phases as the planning committee is working on adding new and never-been-done-before activities to the day.

Get excited to unlock your inner imagineer! Save the date and join Kent State’s Women in Engineering Club on October 22nd for Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day! Girls and other gender minorities in grades 7-12 are invited to campus for a day of STEM activities to introduce participants to engineering and related career fields. Participants will receive campus tours as well as tours of the Aeronautics and Engineering Building, home of the College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE), before rotating through a variety of activity sessions where they will be given a real-world problem to solve with the tools and technology in front of them.
