Join us for our Fall 2026 CAED Lecture Series featuring guest Ankur Choksi as he presents "What Deserves Out Attention Beyond the Ask?".

Ankur Choksi is Co-Founding Principal at Studio Lotus, a globally recognized, multi-disciplinary design practice founded in 2002. Spanning the domains of Master Planning, Architecture, and Interior Design, the work of the studio is grounded on the principles of Conscious Design—an approach that celebrates local resources, cultural influences, an inclusive process, and keen attention to detail.

Ankur leads large-scale Integrated Hospitality and Adaptive Reuse projects, as well as Private Residences for select clients. Working closely with the leadership team, he helps shape the practice’s values and culture, design process, leadership development, technology integration, and organizational strategy.

A strong advocate for storytelling through design, Ankur draws on regional context, culture, and hand-built processes to celebrate local materials and artisanal skills. He also champions adaptive reuse as a starting point for sustainability in architecture. His significant projects include the Godrej Trees Project in Vikhroli, the Anant Art Gallery in New Delhi, Taj Guras Kutir in Sikkim, The Oberoi Vindhyavilas at Bandhavgarh, and an upcoming 15-key boutique resort at Havelock Island in the Andamans.
