Sara Brandner, Lecturer

Sara is an alum of both the undergraduate and graduate Construction Management programs at Kent State. Outside of her educational experience, Sara worked as a project engineer, assistant project manager, and as an environmental and operations engineer with the Kent State University Architect's office, Welty Building Company and Metis Construction. At Welty, Sara helped manage the construction of Ohio’s first Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) method building (Akron Children’s Hospital). She was also instrumental in Kent State’s esplanade expansion and the Summit Street redesign. In conjunction with managing commercial construction projects, Sara has been teaching as an adjunct in the Construction Management program since Fall of 2018.
