Kent State’s Office of Graduate Admissions will offer Free Application Week for all domestic applicants starting on Monday, October 21 and concluding on Monday, October 28, 2024.
Applications for all Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship master’s and doctoral programs are included in this promotion! The application fee will be automatically waived for those who live in the domestic United States and submit an application during this time. No special code is required to participate.
Applicants do not need to provide all application materials (e.g., transcripts, letters of recommendation, goal statements) when they submit an application. All applicants retain access to the application portal where they can upload new documents, replace previously submitted documents and check the status of an application.
For those looking for additional guidance on the application process, the Crawford College Graduate Programs Office will be holding Graduate Programs Week October 14 - 17, a week of informational webinars to learn more about our graduate business programs. Find out more about the admission requirements, and curriculum, and get your questions answered!

Join the Hugh A. Glauser School of Music for its acclaimed Kent Keyboard Series featuring legendary jazz pianist Kenny Werner on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 5 p.m. in Ludwig Recital Hall.
Werner is revered as a world-class pianist and composer whose musicianship has garnered powerful accolades from many, including Quincy Jones, who called him “Perfection. 360 degrees of soul and science in one human being. My kind of musician.”
A celebrated author known for his landmark book, “Effortless Mastery, Liberating The Master Musician Within,” Werner received classical training at the Manhattan School of Music before pursuing jazz at the Berklee School of Music. He also studied with Brazilian pianist Joao Assis Brazil.

Join the Kent State University Museum and the National First Ladies Library and Museum for a discussion with Carmen Evelyn G. Nuyda, author of “Lizzy: The Elizabeth Keckley Story;" Sara Hume, Ph.D., curator and professor, Kent State University Museum and Michelle Gullion, senior director of curatorial services, National First Ladies Library and Museum.
This event takes you on a journey through the remarkable life of Elizabeth Keckley, who purchased her own freedom from slavery and became a successful entrepreneur and personal dressmaker to First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln. A cape made by Keckley for Lincoln will be displayed at the event as we uncover how fashion can illuminate historical narratives, from the lives of first ladies to often overlooked histories.
Admission is free and open to the public.
