The Stark County Alumni Chapter is excited to host its annual balloon breakfast at Kent State Stark! Come join the fun for this early morning balloon launch, which is part of the annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival. Admission includes breakfast, family entertainment and great seats to catch all the action as the balloons lift off overhead.
RSVP by July 19. A portion of your ticket purchase supports the Stark County Alumni Chapter Scholarship Fund. Please note: The balloons are not guaranteed to lift off due to weather, but the breakfast happens rain or shine. No refunds.

Join fellow Flashes for a laid-back walk along dog-friendly campus paths, followed by a celebratory bark brunch complete with pup cups, pawsecco and bubbles. Each four-legged pawticipant will receive an honorary degree for their loyalty and tail-wagging spirit!

Kent State University Bands and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics invite you to High School Band Day 2025. This year, the event will be held at Dix Stadium on Saturday, September 13. We are pleased to offer a meal (pizza/water) and admission to the football game against Buffalo for all participating members of your marching band. Your students will have the opportunity to experience the pageantry of collegiate athletics and join the Marching Golden Flashes on the field as part of the halftime performance. Following the halftime performance, your band is free to stay for the second half of the game or depart as desired.
Registration will close on August 8. Please give us your maximum anticipated attendees, including students, staff and chaperones. You may bring less than requested; however, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to add more than your original amount. An email confirmation and further information, including music, itinerary and how to secure discounted tickets for friends and family, will be sent no later than August 22.
