The Biotechnology program is designed to provide a strong academic foundation in biological sciences and chemistry, training in the various biotechnologies, and a solid understanding of their application in industry and biomedicine.

The CCI Commons living, learning community at Kent State University is located in Olson Hall and is open to all College of Communication and Information majors.

The School of Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Studies supports programs in Adolescent & Young Adult Education, Career Technical Teacher Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Early Childhood Education, Literacy Education, Master of Arts in Teaching, Middle Childhood Education and Physical Education. 

flashLITE is a residential program that will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to live a healthy lifestyle while dealing with the demands of college life. This program will be the first of its kind in the nation.

The School of  Health Sciences supports programs in Athletic Training, Exercise Science/Physiology, Health Education & Promotion, Integrated Health Studies, Nutrition & Dietetics, Speech Pathology & Audiology and Sports Medicine.

The ABA Standing Committee on paralegals has defined a paralegal as a "person, qualified by education, training or work experience who is employed or retained by a lawyer, law office, corporation, governmental agency or other entity and who performs specifically delegated substantive legal work for which a lawyer is responsible. Paralegals may not provide legal services directly to the public except as permitted by law."

Kent State University’s School of Art is one of Ohio’s top schools in visual art, offering undergraduate and graduate degrees in Art Education, Art History, and Studio Art. The College of Education, Health and Human Services (EHHS) offers 18 undergraduate programs, 24 graduate degrees, and 13 doctoral programs. Graduates go on to serve as leaders in a wide variety of fields, ranging from education, counseling, and health care to hospitality, recreation, and sport.
