Student Affiliates in School Psychology

Our chapter of SASP follows student professional development, service, networking, and advocacy as established by the American Psychological Association (APA). In addition to providing ongoing professional development, service, networking, and advocacy per the APA, our chapter is closely aligned with the professional standards of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). SASP includes all students registered for the program as members upon acceptance and membership is limited to school psychology graduate students only. We strive to build bridges across cohorts within the program and serve as a space where professional and academic issues can be discussed as well as mentorship and the sharing of resources. This organization serves as a platform where School Psychology students can collaborate and grow as professionals with the help of their community and each other.

The Student Affiliates in School Psychology, or SASP, is a graduate student organization of which KSU School Psychology students are automatically members.
